Our Chicken Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) bundle is the most economical way to feed your family while enjoying the convenience of home delivery. Get fresh pasture-raised chicken delivered to your door!
Minimum of 10lbs (S) or 20lbs (L) included in this bundle (mix of 2 packs leg quarters, 2 packs breasts, 1 pack wings, and whole bird). This helps us with inventory planning and allows us to logistically include FREE home delivery (within 15-miles of the farm).
This 3-month CSA bundle will run from September to November. We will reach out to coordinate home delivery. On-farm pickup is always available from the farm store.
The small CSA bundle is ideal for two (2) adults.
- Ex. One (1) whole chicken (~5lbs), boneless skin-on breast (1-2lbs), bone-in skin-on leg quarters (1-2lbs), party wings (1-2lbs).
The large family bundle is ideal for families and will feed approximately four (4) adults or two (2) adults and three to four children.
- Ex. Two (2) whole chickens (~10lbs), boneless skin-on breast (2-4lbs), bone-in skin-on leg quarters (2-4lbs), party wings (2-4lbs).
Full Regenerative Practices:
Our broilers are raised in a brooder for 3 weeks until they have developed enough to withstand the elements once on pasture. When the birds are moved out to pasture, they are raised in mobile coops called "chicken tractors". Chicken tractors are moved once or twice daily to fresh forage for nutrition and manure distribution.
Chickens are omnivores and consume grasses, seeds, legumes, insects, and worms while on pasture. In addition, they are supplemented with non-GMO, soy-free grain. Chickens are both processed at a local USDA-inspected facility in Gettysburg, PA, and on our farm.
